Jackson Proctor Family Scholarship

 

Each recipient will receive $500.00 to assist with their educational endeavors.

GENEISHA MARTIN
2017

Geneisha grew up in Florrisant, Missouri.  She is the daughter of Angela Jackson and Gary Martin; granddaughter of Christine Rogers; great-granddaughter of James and Corine Thomas, Sr. 

Geneisha attended Jackson-Proctor reunions in 2007, 2009 and 2013. She currently attends the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri and plans to become a psychologist.

Shannon grew up in Cordova, TN.  She is the daughter of Darren and Marcia Sharp; granddaughter of Willie and Teresa Sharp; great-granddaughter of Weddie Jackson Sr. and Mary Jane Proctor Jackson.

Shannon attended Jackson-Proctor reunions in 2001, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. She currently attends the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and plans to become a mechanical engineer.

ZAKIYA ROBINSON
2018

Zakiya grew up in Lambert, Mississippi.  She is the daughter of Robert Jackson and Alice Robinson; granddaughter of Weddie "Bo" and Mary Bell Jackson; great-granddaughter of  Weddie Jackson Sr. and Mary Jane Proctor Jackson.

 

She attended reunions in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017. She will be attending Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She plans to major in biology with goals of becoming a licensed pediatrician.
